Bringing volunteers and the community together to improve the homes and lives of low-income homeowners.

photoDonor Information

Any donations to Rebuilding Together, whether monetary, in building materials, in other supplies, or simply in time are greatly appreciated.  This program could not occur without these donations and volunteer support.

Rebuilding Together is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization.  Donations may be tax deductible.

Monetary Donations

Monetary donations may be sent to Rebuilding Together; 1200 County-City Building, 227 W. Jefferson Boulevard; South Bend, IN 46601.  Online donations are accepted through the Rebuilding Together page on the Make A Difference Michiana website.

House Sponsorship

A house sponsor underwrites all repair costs at one of the rehabilitated homes.  Sponsorships are offered at $3,500.  Employees of a business or organization that sponsors a house often volunteer at the sponsored home on Community Volunteer Day.  A house sponsor’s commitment is recognized with a yard sign at the home that day, logo placement on the Rebuilding Together local website, and additional consideration.

Material & Supply Donations

Rebuilding Together accepts donations of new and very gently used building materials.  Donated materials should be of a quality consistent with a new installation and of a quantity sufficient to complete an entire project.  Rebuilding Together will take donations of materials including electrical components, plumbing supplies, moldings and trim, cabinets, and vanities.  Professional suppliers may also donate items such as flooring, doors, windows, and roofing materials.

Rebuilding Together accepts supply donations, including yard tools (rakes, shovels, small hand and power tools), ladders, sawhorses, wheelbarrows, paint supplies (brushes, rollers, paint trays, and drop cloths), and cleaning supplies (household cleaners and paper towels).

Rebuilding Together does not accept opened cans of paint.
